2017
Founding of MOTOR Ai
Roy Uhlmann and Adam Bahlke co-founded MOTOR Ai at the factory on Bernauer Straße, Berlin, Germany. Establishing the only German autonomous company with a proprietary, self-developed AD (Autonomous Driving) Stack.
2019
Shaping AI Standards in Mobility
Co-Founder and CTO Adam Bahlke joined the subcommittee on AI in mobility and logistics, contributing to the development of a DIN standard published at the 2020 Digital Gipfel, with his name featured on the final norm.
2020
Horizon 2020 Funding Secured
MOTOR Ai received support from the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 program, recognizing its innovation and impact in autonomous mobility technology.
2021
New Headquarters
MOTOR Ai relocated its operations to Pfuelstraße 5, Berlin, marking a new chapter of growth and development in the heart of Berlin.
2022
Workshop Facility Opened in Tegel
MOTOR Ai launched its own workshop at Tegel, enabling in-house testing, vehicle integration, and recustomization to accelerate development and deployment.
2025
Testing Permit Secured & New Office Move
In March, MOTOR Ai received its official autonomous vehicle testing permit, a major step forward in real-world deployment. The team also relocated into a new, bigger office to support continued growth on Scheringstraße 1, Berlin.
